Guitar Kit presents a comprehensive and user-friendly tool for guitar chord forms, making it an invaluable resource for musicians on the go.

The application features an extensive library of preset chord forms, allowing users to easily search and view various chords. Additionally, Guitar Kit enables the creation of original fingerings, giving musicians the flexibility to customize their experience.

Optimized for both iPhone and iPad, Guitar Kit supports Slide Over and Split View, ensuring a seamless user interface across devices. The intuitive Chord Picker facilitates smooth scrolling and quick access to selected chord forms, while the search function accommodates various enharmonic equivalents for more specific inquiries.

An engaging feature is the capability to play each note by tapping the top guitar diagram. Users can also play any selected chord from their list or picker, enhancing their practice experience.

The Favorites Tab allows for easy storage of preferred chord forms, while the Sheet feature lets users view multiple chords simultaneously—ideal for confirming chords in specific songs. With options for Black and White mode or Dark Background mode, users can adapt their display to minimize glare in different environments.

A significant advantage is that the display remains active during use, ensuring that users can focus on their playing without interruptions. The “Export Native File” feature facilitates the management of multiple songs effortlessly.

The Make Tab grants users the ability to create original chord forms, fully integrated into the preset library. The Reproduce Form function allows for easy duplication of existing forms, while additional utilities like sliding to change root notes and the Suggest Form feature provide further creative possibilities.

With a dedicated Scale Tab, Guitar Kit showcases popular scales and identifies matched chords relevant to the selected scale. Users have the flexibility to switch between left-hand and right-hand orientations across all frets, as well as toggle note name or interval settings for each note.

Data backup options include Mail, Dropbox, Box, and iCloud Drive, ensuring that user-created content can be securely stored and easily restored. Additionally, users can export Sheet Chord Forms as Standard MIDI Files (SMF), enhancing versatility in DAW applications by allowing easy integration of chord progressions.

With the “Export Native File” function, managing sheets within Guitar Kit is a straightforward process. This functionality ensures compatibility even when certain sheet chord forms are absent from the Library Tab, resembling a seamless operation of opening and saving multiple songs.
